South Texas Whitetail Deer Hunting | Four Seasons Ranch

At Four Seasons Ranch we take great pride in trophy South Texas whitetail deer hunting. Through years of hard work and dedication, we have seen our strict management practices have a great affect on the average size of our whitetail bucks. When we first started, the average size of a mature whitetail buck was between 130″- 140″. Now it is not uncommon to see numerous bucks pushing 170″, and some reaching the magical 200″ mark. In the early years, we only harvested mature 8 and 9 pointers strictly for management purposes. That, along with our personal mixture of supplemental feed and food plots, has provided hunters with a great opportunity to take a true South Texas trophy on our ranch. We have solid genetics on our ranch. In 2008 we harvested an eight pointer that grossed 161 3/8 and took first place in the Los Cazadores and Muy Grande big buck contest for the eight point division. In 2017, we harvested a giant 223 2/8″ buck with the Brush Country Monsters TV crew that also was entered into the Los Cazadores competition.

The main ranch at Four Seasons is over 3,500+ acres (9,000 total in the county) of incredible South Texas trophy whitetail habitat and offers any style of whitetail hunting you desire. From elevated box blinds, tripods, or high-racks looking down senderos and CRP fields to mobile pop-up blinds that can be moved when the hunting action warrants, we have a setup that will fit your style. Spot and stalk hunts, along with rattling can be very effective and the first two weeks of December usually are perfect for the pre-rut. Archery hunters are welcome and bow blinds can be arranged at the hunter’s request. Our tower blinds are set in a variety of locations throughout the ranch, and most can seat up to three people. You will be able to hunt open fields, food plots, watering holes or ponds, and the classic South Texas senderos. Four Seasons Ranch is under the MLD program, so whitetail hunting is available from October to February. Most all of the hunts at Four Seasons will include an experienced guide that is sure to put you on the buck of your dreams. When booking a hunt with us you will also be given an opportunity to take a hog and a doe after your buck of choice has been harvested depending on availability.

Hunts include:
All hunts are 3 days and include a hunt for a trophy animal in the score class of your choice, a dedicated guide, lodging, drinks, and meals. Once blood has been drawn on an animal, that animal belongs to you. All efforts will be exhausted to track down a wounded game animal to ensure that you get your trophy.

Hunts do not include:

Suggested Rifle Calibers:
243win or bigger please. You will be required to shoot your rifle on the range with your guide to verify accuracy.

Archery:
Archery hunters are welcome. Either Fixed or expandable broadheads can be used. Crossbow hunters are also welcome.
